Humans- free verse poem

Humans are confusing beings.
We never seem to know the difference,
between what we want in life,
and what we really need.
Then, even when we get what we want,
or what we thought we wanted,
we're never satisfied.
Will mankind ever be truly satisfied,
with what we have?
But perhaps it's best not to ask questions,
because we may not be satisfied with the answers.
